Learn how to be a master of the light, and not a slave to it! Co-instructors James O’Connell and Dana Sullivan share their years of Wet Plate experience with participants in this exciting class 3 day class. Students will learn how to confidently shoot outdoors in natural light conditions from harsh to subdued, using simple shading and light filling techniques. Students can move indoors to explore studio lighting with strobes and continuous setups. Students can bring their own cameras or select from the cameras and tripods in our studio inventory.
With a maximum of 6 students per class, our student to instructor ratio makes sure each student gets plenty of intimate one-on-one instruction and assistance. The workshop focuses on still life and portraiture work, with two days of shooting with our native models Juana Olivas and Adam Joaquin Gonzales.
