Hahnemühle FineArt has designed this special paper for Japanese Sumi-e painting and it works wonderfully for Cyanotype! This paper is thin and very absorbent.
Each sheet is seperated by a thin sheet of white printer paper. The paper for coating is the off-white textured sheets in between those.
You will need more solution than usual. We found it best to mix up a batch of working soluiton, dip the brush in and “paint” the emulsion over desired area. Coat with the paper on glass or an easily wipeable surface! The solution will bleed through the paper.
It doesn’t work well for other alt processes.
